本人收到小 額 錢 債 審 裁 處聆訊通知,內容是有關一條17年前的卡數,請問...是不是過了6年,債權人就不能以法律途徑作出申索嗎? 更新: 張卡係AEON卡,於申請後2年內已被ATM食卡及取消,此後從未再與AEON再任何接觸,原因係搬離舊地址!

The answer is yes. However, it depends on the debt collection practice. For example, if you owe money from A Bank without repayment and you have been using A Bank for the last 17 years, A Bank will have difficulty to collect as the statute of limitation has passed. However, if A Bank can prove that you have been "disappeared" (meaning the Bank can't find you until now), the Bank can in fact claim that the statute of limitation did not expire. 2012-12-05 04:56:01 補充： Then you are doomed. 6-year statute of limitation does not apply you in this case.
